Poems and strange mumblings

US PEOPLE

Us people, we come in all sorts, short and tall, fat and small

Some of us are nice to know, but others, well what a blow.

Some will wish you “Hey Good day” as about your life you go

Others with their nose in air, you’re invisible from head to toe.

Most of us though are happy folk, we’ll share a joke and smile

From builders, to accountants, life’s not meant to be a trial.

Born babies, we grow from child to grown ups we are told

But we don’t get any more sensible as the years unfold.

School at age 5, till we reach sixteen, and learn a career we must

Cause if we don’t try and learn a trade, then most of us will go bust.

As time goes by we fall in love with the partner of our dreams.

Get married, and have children is the thing to do it seems.

Free time we have to socialise and be with our favourite friends

Enjoy our games, and save the best through the camera lense

Life is too short to be miserable, so take this tip from me

Be happy, not sad, no sorrow, always glad, that’s us people you see.
